Epic Cleantec brings water to global stage during APEC 2023
“There are a number of ethnic conflicts around the world where the lack of access to water or the prevention of access to water is a key contributor. We need to be working together and I think that’s why we’re here... We’re going to need all hands-on deck to solve this.”

Co-Founder and CEO at Epic Cleantec
This year's Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) event brought 1,200 global CEOs, 600 media personnel and nearly 30,000 delegates to thost city of San Francisco to discuss how to create a resilient and sustainable future for all. For the past 34 years, APEC has worked to promote sustainable business practices, strengthen environmental conservation, and address climate change. Epic has played an active role in helping advance water reuse regulations in cities and states across the country so it was an especially exciting week for the Epic Cleantec team as we were featured prominently throughout the multi-day confab.
From hosting tours, to participating on an APEC CEO Summit panel with Nick Clegg, President of Global Affairs for Meta, and Manny Maceda, CEO of Bain & Company, to serving recycled water beers to hundreds of media at San Francisco City Hall with Mayor London Breed, to joining a private reception with President Biden, Epic Cleantec was able to put water squarely in the spotlight for the week.
